Disable Avatar Thumbnail?
I've done some quick searching and nothing turned up so posting.
I don't like having the thumbnail of a member's avatar on their profile page, how do I edit this?
I looked into the template and it all "prepared" prefixes to the variables, so I'm assuming the option to have a thumbnail has been set somewhere else.

I want place a notice on my forum for user to be able to change their avatar once they click on the link.

This is where the issue is,
Uploading avatars are fine for me as Admin but my users cannot see the "edit avatar" option on their profiles leaving it impossible to upload an avatar....Mon 28 Jul '14, 2:00am -

Some new members who have not yet a custom avatar shows thin on index page:
