  • Replacement Variable for links?

Im trying to autolink a certain word with Replacement Variables. I got it to work by using html link code, but it seems to screw up the thread titles. Is there anyway to do this so it doesn't?

Here is the documentation regarding the replacement variable feature, giving you information on why perhaps your linking isn't working (or done right).

Did you have any success with this?

I got a little closer withthis but it still doesn't really explain the syntax

Amykhar made this suggestion back in 2005...to give the replacement variable manager the option to eithere replace simply in posts or everywhere.

Unfortunately looks like I'll have to use this really od hack until I find something better.

Trying this...I don't think this functionality should require a mod...its kinda basic. There really should be an option in the manager to select whether the variable is triggered "just in posts or everywhere".

I'm hoping there is and I just don't know of it.

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
