  • Media Files---wmv, mov etc

I have been on Vbulletin forums that allowed many more media files such as wmv and mov.

Does 3.8.2 allow this by default?

If not is there a way to include these files on my forum.

There are no default options for this. Try checking over at www.vbulletin.org.

How about ACP -> Attachments -> Attachment Manager -> Add New Extension?

True, if all he wanted was to upload those extensions. I had assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that he wanted to embed them.

Yes, I believe I would be interested in embedding at least mov and wmv files if possible.

Or you could upload them to youtube and then use the bbcode for it.

Goldbrick does it I believe, it works fine for me on 3.8, I can't say I've really tried it but I'm almost certain one of my members used it for a .mov in the past.

Apparently it 'Plays most media types.'
