Assigning an avatar to all users in a usergroup?

I want to assign a specfic avatar to all users in a usergroup (i.e. all admins have the same avatar, all super mods have the same avatar, etc.) but I don't see any way to do that. What am I missing?

You can assign avatars to individual user by editing their user profile in the Admin CP. You cannot assign avatars to user groups.

One feature that may do what you need though depending on your site's layout and style are User Ranks. Using Ranks, you can assign an image to usergroups. It doesn't replace their avatar but shows in every post under their username. You can read about User Ranks here:
