  • Adding a Link To Title Image?

    How might I add a link to the Title Image that will point back to the home page?

    Thank you

    This is the code you should use for the title image to be a link:

    Code:
    <a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a>
    Replace the img tag you have for your title image with the code above, make sure you are calling the correct logo image in this bit:
    Title Image This is the image located in the 'header' template, used as the main logo for your forum.
    You should have something like this in the input field (replacing 'skinname' with the actual name of your Skin, also change file type if your logo is not a .gif!):
    Code:
    images/skins/skinname/misc/logo.gif

      Thanks so much for the help but I may have asked the question incorrectly. The code you posted already exists in the header template and the new logo I used as a title image does indeed act as a link as it is now written. What I would like to do is link the logo to a different page other than the forum page, in this case the home page that hosts the forum. Is there a place to enter a different url so the link points there instead of [forumhome]?

        I figured it out. I replaced [forumhome] with [homeurl]. It would be interesting to know how to link the title image to ANY other url. Any hints?

          Just replace this:
          Code:
          $vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]
          with the required url itself, like:
          Code:
          http://www.vbulletin.com/
          I'm not 100% certain if the php session needs to be retained, I'm sure someone else will correct me if it needs to be retained.

          Ensure you also replace this:
          Code:
          alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]"
          to reflect the target site with something like this:
          Code:
          alt="vBulletin Main Website"
