  • Notices not showing

    Perhaps this is me being a bit silly, but notices are not displaying properly for my guests. The standard welcome message appears, but I created a custom one using the built in notice feature and I can't see it.

    Is there a template variable I need to make sure is included in my FORUMHOME template or something?

    Thanks for any help.

    What settings did you set in the notices manager?

    Did you tick the User belongs to.....

      That's because you are logged in as admin. Organise another account as a regular member and see if they can see it.

        Or just log out, as he wants it for guests

          I've already done that . It does not show for guests even though I have set the notice to show for the unregistered / not logged in usergroup. I think it is because of my style so I just need to know what the template variable is so I can put it back in.

            check that this is in your navbar template...

            HTML Code:
            <if condition="$show['notices']">
            <form action="profile.php?do=dismissnotice" method="post" id="notices">
            <input type="hidden" name="do" value="dismissnotice" />
            <input type="hidden" name="securitytoken" value="$bbuserinfo[securitytoken]" />
            <input type="hidden" id="dismiss_notice" name="dismiss_notice" value="" />
            <input type="hidden" name="url" value="$return_link" />
                <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
