  • Question about Premissions

I would like to set up so that a Moderator or Super Mod can change the User Groups for Registered Users, but not have access to other Admin features related to Users.

Basically one of my sites is a Guild site for a game. I would like to give a Moderator the ability to change a Registered User to a custom usergroup, but dont want them to have access to all the other User Admin options.

Is there a way for me to do this?

    Thanks all!

    Go into the usergroup manager...

    Edit your custom usergroup.

Set it to be "Publicly Joinable".

    Save the Usergroup.

Then on the Usergroup Manager Page, scroll to the group and in the Options dropdown for it, add the moderator as a Group Leader. When someone tries to join the group in their User CP, it will notify the group leader and they can approve them to join or reject their application.

Other than this method, there is no way to do what you want.

Thank you very much - that just might work indeed
