  • How do I exclude a forum from the "New Posts" feature?

My title says it all. Basically, we've got a forum for spamming in and playing games in, and because it has a high frequency of posts, quite a lot of these unimportant threads and posts find their way into the "New Posts" search. Is there any way to exclude them from this search?

If I spend much more time browsing these forums, I could be subjected to: 1. Burnt retinas, 2. Angry customers, 3. Lack of moderation, 4. Arguments.
This used to be a nice place; what the hell's gone wrong?

      Steve,

In my navbar template I don't have a getnew. All I have is getdaily. I changed that to exclude the forum in question however it did not work.

Can you help me out here? Thanks!

Then you have a modified navbar temp, ate. You will need to either add the appropriate code or contact the author of that template and style for help.
