  • Performance Problems

    Hi

I use a managed server for my forum but the last time i really have problems with performance of vbulletin, at the moment for example the load looks like this:

    17,97 12,33 9,28 | 369 User online (Registered User: 76, Guests: 293)

Is there a tool to check what does slow down the server so much? I use eAccelerator and vB Optimise, but with not really much effort. I also tried to deactivate the most of my plugins (also vbseo) but there was no difference. I also tried about every optimization tip out there but also no help.

    Thanks for help!

Then this is a server issue. Please see this thread for help with optimizing your server:

        http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...threadid=70117

Then post the requested info in a new thread in that forum.

Also please note that we do this as a courtesy but optimizing servers is not really a part of vBulletin support.

Those server loads are actually quite normal for many shared hosting packages these days. If you're on a dedicated server than I suggest that you visit the Server Configuration forum and see the stickied post for server optimization.
