  • Allowing a usergroup to choose styles

We want to set the forum so that a certain usergroup (ie paid contributors) can choose a style that has no ads, but registered users cannot - they have to have the ads.

e.g. we have two styles, one with ads (default style) and one without ads (adless style)

We can set the options so that registered uses cannot change the default style.

It is possible for admin to change a user option to allow overide that (ie allow choosing the adless style for that user).

But I can't find anything in group options about overiding it. Or am I missing something?

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

Fair enough. I have made a suggestion to have this implemented.
