  • Forum does not display correctly in IE7

    Hi,

I have searched the forum (and google which just brings up MSBulletins!) for "Internet Explorer" and "display issues" and read the threads, but cannot see anything like what I have - appologies for missing them if there are, but it's late!

I have a basic forum, (www.autotechforums.co.uk) only adding a sidebar from vb.org although when trialing out the register form from the home page (new visitor) in FF, noticed it only displayed the header image and the form was way tabbed over to the right.

I loaded the forum up in IE7 for the first time and it doesn't display correctly at all!

I saw the post about VBOptions > Cookies and HTTP > Send IE7 Header, which is enabled.

I know it's my own fault for not checking as I made changes, but i've only added an image, changed the fonts and added a side bar.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Many thanks.

Try this. Create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Then change to this style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

If you do, empty your browser cache, close all browser windows and try again.

If you do not have this problem with the original templates, then this means the problem is with one or more of your custom templates. You need to revert your templates, then redo your changes.
