change size of welcome mesage

Hi,
i want to change the SIZE of the welcome message in the home page of the forum from 3 to 6 lines,
I also want to change the fonts of the words here.

Is this just a matter of using HTML and CSS?

or is there a simple "idiots" way of doing this, as I dont know these languages yet....?! any suggestions?


(ps I know how to change the content, ive done that already)

Edit the phrase and just use HTML as you desire. If you need help with HTML, Google is your friend.
