Please take a look at this possible bug. Did you think that it's a normal behavior? If so, do you find it appropiate?

I believe that's just extra info for the mods and admin. The litmus test would be to delete a thread as a mod or admin then go back as a regular member and do a search for the thread. Remember as a logged in admin or mod you see a lot of things regular members don't see. A member level test account is a real handy tool to have.
