RSS SQL Error

Ever since I've upgraded to v3.8.0 and subsequently to v3.8.1 I keep receiving the same error intermittently:

Database error in vBulletin 3.8.1:

This is a server issue. You'll need to contact your host about this. Here are the reasons for the MySQL server going away:
