Upgrade script stalls at upgrade_350b1.php?step=6

Hi all,

I'm just in the process of upgrading vB, and it gets so far in the upgrade process and then hangs at (upgrade_350b1.php?step=6).

From the other post I can find where another user experienced the same problem at this stage, this could be because of the post-count being quite large?

I don't have shell access to this box at present, although I can get access if required - but I can put my hands on phpmyadmin at present - so just wondering if anyone knows what command(s) need to be run to bypass this step using the online upgrade script as above.

In situations like yours you can usually watch the upgradelog table in phpmyadmin. Even though the web page times out, the process is still running on your web server. You will know that the current step is done when you see an appropriate record in the upgradelog table. So you can just run the step and wait. Don't refresh the page. Once the log shows that the step has completed you can increment the step number in the URL of the upgrade script.
