    One option is to use a template conditional. It's a little hackish but it works:

    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Modify User Option Templates -> modifyprivacy_bit

    Code:
    [color=red]<if condition="$block[name] != 'About Me'">[/color]
    <tr>
    	<td width="55%" nowrap="nowrap">
    		<label for="blockprivacy_$blockid">$block[name]:</label>
    	</td>
    	<td width="10%">&nbsp;</td>
    	<td width="55%" align="$stylevar[left]">
    		<select name="blockprivacy[$blockid]" id="blockprivacy_$blockid">
    			<option value="0" $selected[0]>$vbphrase[everyone]</option>
    			<option value="1" $selected[1]>$vbphrase[registered_members]</option>
    			<option value="2" $selected[2]>$vbphrase[your_contacts]</option>
    			<option value="3" $selected[3]>$vbphrase[your_friends]</option>
    		</select>
    	</td>
    </tr>
    [color=red]</if>[/color]
    That will hide the "About Me" section on the privacy page so they can't change that one.

    Profile Privacy Administration

    Is there a way for admins to determine the possible settings for profile privacy for each item.

    Or at least for which items profile privacy can be set by users?

    Or is it just the all or nothing setting in usergroup permissions?

    In the latter case the whole feature is useless for our forum. We don't want users to be able to hide all info from other members. Some info like visitor messages or contact info would not be a problem, but the About Me should always be visible to members.

    Regards,
