We are having a similar problem. Thumbnails are now showing up as links even though all the permissions, both usergroup and forum permissions state that members should be able to see the thumbnails. This is VERY frustrating!

The attachments was processed during the upgrade (it took a looong time), but now they seems to have disappeared!?
