  • Moved to New Server - No SSH access

I've been Googling this for a while now, but I can't find any information that doesn't involve SSH (new server doesn't have SSH enabled).

My old host was a jerk and wound up closing my account before I had a chance to do any backing up myself, but they sent me the .sql for the database and all of the site files. How should I go about the move now?

Even a link to point me in the right direction would help a ton...

    Thanks in advance!!

If you don't have telnet or SSH access to backup and restore your database, some people have reported success with these scripts:

    MySQLDumper:

    MySQLHotxcopy:

Thank you, Steve!! I remember using MySQLDumper a few years ago and it worked great. I couldn't remember the name of it, though. So thanks for the links!!
