Set up a test installation to walk through upgrade, can't log into admincp
I did a fresh install on an empty database to use as a test site before I upgraded our primary/production site and all went well.
Via SSH I overwrote the empty DB on the test site with a copy of the populated DB from the production site, and now I'm unable to log into the admincp for the test site.
Rather, I can enter my username and pswd and upon submitting it, I see the "Thank you for logging in, [person's name]", but then I just get redirected back to the admincp login page.
What have I messed up, and how can I fix it?
You may need to edit your database to use the correct URL. Edit the bburl value in the 'setting' table. If that still doesn't work, you may need to edit the options column in the datastore table - search for bburl in that column and the url will be immediately after this.
I'm creating a test environment, and everything so far has gone well.
