FTP Help? Converting Files to FTP

Hello. I was wondering if someone could please explain to me how to convert files to FTP? I'm trying to install Vbulletin 3.8.5 and I needed some assistance converting the files to FTP format. Thank you.

FTP is not a format, it's a protocol.

FTP stands for "File Transfer Protocol" and it's a method to move files from one computer to another. (Example: Upload files from your local PC to a web server)

If you want to move your vBulletin files to your web server, you need to use an FTP program such as FileZilla - Which requires you to know your FTP user name and password for your web server. After you get FileZila (or other FTP program) connected, you can then "FTP" your files to the web server.
