problem updrading to 3.8.4

  • problem updrading to 3.8.4

    i have installed the 3.8.3 version and when i tried to upgrade to the latest version 3.8.4
    i got the following error

    so what's the problem

    That error means you have a problem in your config.php file, either a blank space or line at the beginning of the file or it was not saved correctly as a text file.

        i have checked the config file and it's fine
        and to make sure if the problem with my server or the config file
        i have uploaded the congig file to check if it will work or not i found it works fine but i didn't proceed to upgrade using it..

        the config file for the latest release is as the following without modifynig

          Download the file and open it with notepad, sometimes there is junk data before <?php

              it's ok now
              i think the problem was that...
              i modified the file using expression web 1 and it's not compatible with php
              i have used to use it instead of my notepad but i think i doesn't work fine with php files maybe expression web 2 works fine
