  • Convert InnoDB to MyISAM?

    Hello,

I am hosting a client and they have mixed tables in their 3.8.x installation, some are InnoDB, some are MyISAM. My forum has all MyISAM. How do I convert so that all their tables are in MyISAM?

You could run a query like this on each table:
    Code:
ALTER TABLE `test` ENGINE = MYISAM

Why do you need to switch? Are they having issues with their forums?

InnoDB is just fine to run vBulletin on. On install, vBulletin will specifically change tables to table engines if it needs to.
