If you want exact spacing, I suggest using HTML with "Convert Linebreaks turned off" in the advanced options. This will help to prevent CKEditor from adding those extraneous line breaks when you edit. Even if they are added, they won't be converted to <br> tags on saved.

I can confirm this issue. It makes it hard every single time when we create articles on our site.

Every time you edit an article it adds one space below & between an image and text.. with each edit.. so if you edit 10 times.. you get 10 spaces etc..

Also it adds one space above but at least it's never repeated..

To merely get the effect of one space below an image and between text you have to put zero spaces.. if you put 1 space it makes 2 etc.. if you put 2 spaces it makes 3 etc.. adding one space every time you hit the edit button..

I had hopes that the devs would have improved the forum a bit by now.. mainly what I just mention.. other things I would personally like is the ability to use old page urls that were previously deleted.. and also an ability to have images expanded at all times in the articles..

I don't expect these things.. I just hope for it.. as a paying customer..

The CMS likes to add empty lines between text and photos every time you click to edit an article.. it doesn't remember what empty space was there..
