  • How to display similar Threads/ Topics

Could you please tell me how to anable this feature. Thanks!

A similar threads feature was added recently, but at this stage it is for Cloud customers only due to the way it works. It is hoped to make it available to self-hosted customers in the future.

OK, I have found "Related Topics Module" inside the Site Builder but where do I add the module to show related topics on all threads?

I added the module on the forum homepage but it doesnt seem to do anything...??

On vBulletin Cloud, you would have a "Related Topics" module that you can place on the page. This will show similar topics. It may take 24 hours to populate. It will only work on Topic/Article/Blog/Group Discussion page.
    1. Edit the page of the content type you want to display the module on.
    2. Click on "Add Modules" if necessary.
    3. Click on "Content"
    4. Drag the Related Topics module to the page.
    5. Save the page.

Thank you for the information and instructions!

I am rmostly interested about Topic pages. Is there a way to show Related Topics under every Topic automatically?

I can see that the module was installed on all individual channel/forum pages but not on actual threads.

Go to any of your topics and add the module as stated above. By default all topics use the same page template so the module will appear on them all.

Thank you Wayne for the reply!

Adding the module to the topic page template worked exactly as you said

The box displaying results says "There are no results that meet this criteria" and it have been about 18 hours since I activated the module. The Similarity Score Treshold bar is set to default and slightly leaning to the left side. Do you think that I should double check any settings to make sure that the data are being fetched?

Takes about 24 hours. Related posts are indexed once a day as far as I am aware.

Will have the Cloud team look at this. You're missing the critical API keys necessary and I do not know what they should be.

Thank you Wayne, that would be really great if you can do that
