The video issue is probably because the system isn't really designed to show uploaded videos inline. It appears to be creating thumbnails somehow.
Will have to look into the JPEG issue. What are the steps to recreate this?Translations provided by Google.

I did delete the jpeg. And videos. And re-uploaded with the same results.
Though an earlier post in the same topic . With the same Mp4. Stayed the same. And did not change. Look at pic below for how vidoes stay the same thanks
I wonder if it was because of a double posting of same file. In same post maybe??

Thumbnails will always be JPEG files. Any image that is resized to fit the parameters of your file uploads will be converted to a JPEG file and its extension will be changed to jpg. That is how the system is designed.
I am surprised the system is actually trying to thumbnail MP4 files as we haven't added any explicit support for this.
Looking at the thread you have screenshotted above, I see the files working properly within the Attachment box and the thumbnails link to a larger version of the image. The only issue is the inline MP4 which isn't supported by the software.Last edited by Wayne Luke; Fri 15 May '20, 12:04pm.Translations provided by Google.

Yah it seems to of worked on other mp4 I've added to the site. It's also kept the file name. I was not worried about it being a thumbnail. Just wanted it to keep its original name. How come the others never change. And stayed the same. Also will we see a change in the future to be able of make this better. As it's important to a forum I think

Without valid links and filenames, I can't tell you why something didn't happen or did. I would need the links to see if there are any clues in the database. Even then, I would often have to see it happen so the process can be tracked while it is happening. Even knowing how the MP4 is actually uploaded can make a difference.
The way the system works is that each thing is an object. These objects are stored in the database. Combining these objects creates views.Translations provided by Google.

There is an open issue to allow embedding video into posts. https://tracker.vbulletin.com/vbulle...ssues/VBV-8993
It currently has one vote and that vote is mine so it only carries about 2/3rds the value of a single customer vote.Translations provided by Google.

by TheGLForumI attached an image to a post (see below) and all I see is in the posted message. However, when I enter the Edit mode, I see the image as it should be. What does this indicate and how do I correct it?...
