  • Notifications of new topics and replies

I've noticed that when I subscribe to notifications of new topics or new replies within threads, that, it seems, depending on my setting, I do OR do not receive notifications. In other words, in my profile, if I have "Email Notifications" set to "On" I seem to receive notifications within a few minutes of the reply or post.

OTH, if I have notifications set to "On, Daily" or "On, Weekly" I do not get notifications. (Needless to say, I do wait until the next day or next week when on one of these settings. This is also true of other users.

I have gone into the Admin test utility and receive messages when I test.

Is there anything else to check?

    Thank you.

    Rich

When looking at your site, I am seeing an API Error when trying to call those notifications. I will have to have the Cloud Development Team look into this issue.

Most likely the same issue since all vBCloud sites use the same files. The developers are looking into the issue.

The cause of this issue has been identified and a fix has been developed. It is from one of the infrastructure scripts that triggers the Scheduled Tasks even if there is no activity on a Cloud site. The fix should roll out to all Cloud sites in the near future but I do not have a specific time or date at the moment.

Thanks Wayne. Would it be possible to get advance notice if they are going to down the cloud?

It most likely would not require taking Cloud offline.
