  • unable to embed Google form in a post

I am unable to embed and show Google form in VBCloud post, even though I have edited all the permissions in a channel and usergroup to "can use HTML" option.

    Refer post: https://forum.domainx.org/forum/doma...on-submissions

    Kindly help.

You would need to all HTML permission for the user making the post. This is considered a security risk and is disabled by default. You should only allow HTML for the smallest number of people in the fewest number of locations.

You can do this in the AdminCP under Usergroups -> Channel Permissions. Scroll to the Channel that you want to allow HTML and edit the usergroup that will be posting the HTML. Set the "Can use HTML" permission to Yes. Save the permissions.

When making the post, do not surround your code with the [html] bbcodes. These serve a completely different function.

That tells us nothing about the problem.

If you want us to help you, we need full details. And also, don't be rude to the support staff please. We're not here to be insulted.

Didnt point an insult to any staff member. But the above solution didnt work, that should tell enough about the problem!

We need more than "didn't work", we need a full description of what happened, including any error messages. Without that, we would just be guessing, which isn't helpful.

And, telling us we are "useless" is indeed an insult. We are not here to be insulted, so please don't.

As stated earlier, I didnt point an insult towards a staff member who was trying to help. I simply didnt post my complete sentence which might have come forward as something pointed towards someone but no I really meant "solution was useless" because it didnt help me encode the form code into the forum :-(

I have another issue now which is of NO SSL showing up on my vbcloud forum which is hosted at www.domainx.org (just moved it from forum.domainx.org and I am trying to find out why is that happening. Can you or someone help me on this one?

The solution I provided works on vBulletin Cloud. You can see an example here:

                https://forums.rabidbadger.io/rabidb...le-google-form

Stating something "Doesn't Work" doesn't help use provide support in any way shape or form. Explaining what doesn't work would allow us to provide support.

Will look into the SSL certificate as soon as possible.
