looks like I had to add a wildcard redirect to my redirects and it has corrected the issue - thank you for the help and pointing me in the right direction...I was going through page by page and it was so time consuming. Now I can actually focus on new content

All depends on how the redirect it written. They probably didn't write it correctly or there is a typo.

I am not sure- I had hostgator do the redirects- I’ll have to take a look later tonight to see what I can find.

how is it that http://forum.camarov6.com redirects ok? Sorry if this is a dumb question- I am really new at this kind of stuff

vBulletin 5 has code to redirect the numbers to the valid post. However, the URL is never getting to vBulletin.

    Doesn't Work:
    http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=73213

    Does Work:
    http://www.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=73213

The only difference between the two URLs is the subdomain. The error provided by the first URL is not a vBulletin error. Your redirect is not working for all URLS. You're probably not passing the file (showthread.php) and query string through (?t=73213).

What is the code behind your redirect?

This: http://forum.camarov6.com/ is setup to redirect to www.camarov6.com - it’s I believe the urls were setup as numbered in the past where as now the urls are generated through page titles.

so I am not sure what you mean as far as setting up a redirect on my server?

You need to set up a redirect on the server (whatever server that is showing the 404) that redirects forum.camarov6.com to www.camarov6.com. Then your cloud site should show it properly. Right now, you're not even reaching vBulletin Cloud before the error appears.

You may also be able to set up the redirect at your domain registrar.

    Fixing Broken URLS

I've slowly been working on the site I bought and redid about a year ago - one annoying thing I am noticing is so many links within my forum to pages within my forum are broken. This issue is basically making my forum that has 104k topics pretty much useless.

Is there a way besides manually trying to go into over 1 million posts to check for broken links and trying to find where those pages might be and editing them that I can do to fix this issue?

    My forum is: www.camarov6.com

Some examples of pages that existed in the old forum, but are now broken links are as follows:

    http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=73213
    http://forum.camarov6.com/showpost.p...35&postcount=3
    http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=23598
    http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread...096#post965096
    http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=103406

There has to be a way to fix my site filled with these broken urls that are all pointing internally?
