  • This Page is Trying to Load Scripts from Unauthenticated Sources

A member sent us this. Is there something I can do to resolve it?

The alert is in the top right corner of his screenshot.

"I recently noticed when visiting the forum that Chrome gives me a message stating: "This Page is Trying to Load Scripts from Unauthenticated Sources." Any idea what these scripts are and what their purpose is? I just want to make sure I am not being zombie pharmed!!"

The "scripts" are most likely 3 images you are using with http and not https.

    http://www.nefga.org/core/css/0/0/1/...es/Favicon.png
    http://www.nefga.org/core/css/0/0/1/...nner%20Top.png

Include them with a relative or https URL and you should be fine.

The member says the notification is gone now. Correcting the http must have done it.

        Thanks!

best way to handle this when inserting images in descriptions or via CSS is to reference them like '//'. Leave the http: and https: off. Then if things change for some reason, the browser will be able to handle it properly. You can read more about this here: https://www.paulirish.com/2010/the-p...-relative-url/
