Vbulletin Cloud: I'm having trouble with prefixes

I'm having trouble setting up prefixes for my post topics I have no idea what im doing, i've tried messing around with it myself and they're not showing up.

Could someone please explain to me how to set this up correctly so they'll show when making new topics?


I dont get the whole prefix ID thing.



Edit: I got past the "ID invalid" part and theyre still not showing up, after making the prefix

Okay i got the prefix to work after posting this^

However it was by complete accident and i didnt even know what the extra column was even for??


Is there a way to make the prefix a different color from the rest of the topi title so it doesn't look crazy?

In the 'Title (Rich Text)' field, use something similar to this:

<span style="color: red">PREFIX HERE</span>
