Adding a "Files" section?

Is there a way to add a section/module in the Forums? A place where files can be uploaded and shared? Perhaps a "channel" dedicated to this?

I don't see why not. Wouldn't you just create some categories that allow attachments of various file types and size?

Yes, I could do that but then folks would have to find posts with attachments...I'd rather there be a place for files so they could be organized...kind of the way Yahoo! groups allows...Know of a way to do this?

You would have to create a forum and only allow file attachments in that forum. There is no capability like the above in vB5 though.
