Style CSS Editor not saving changes

Hello,

I am trying to style a theme via the Style / CSS Editor. Once the CSS is entered in the correct theme, I hit save and it says saved successfully. Upon refresh and checking in multiple browsers (and clearing cache)...the changes do not take place.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Also we have been trying to change the logo on each page but it is applying it forum/sub forum wide.

We try editing the logo in multiple areas and are trying to achieve:

Home - Logo 1
Forum - Logo 2
Sub Forum - Logo 3

We made a child style with and without a parent, assigned it to a forum, but nothing is working or showing.
