Adding a Banner

Is there a way to add a banner and a link to the site without using Google AdSense?

Yes. Just put in the HTML for the banner in an HTML or Ad module.

It doesn't work. I'm using this as a test link - http://performanceworks1.com/bs1.jpg
When I add it to an "Ad Module" or "Static HTML" module it just displays the link.

Ok, I was way off. I looked it up. Now it works using this.
