Why would he hand them and the billing over, just like that? This is very similar to the "excuse" Mike used when he tried to avoid lawsuits from TheForumHost.com by changing the name to Inlandhosting.net. The guy is a career criminal and if I were you, I would get rid of any association with him whatsoever.

The fact the information is being transferred so easily makes me believe this is another Richard "Dick" Anderson scam. How can you prove to us it is not?
    Hi Pyromaniac,

I completely understand your being skeptical. Once burned, twice shy.
In a previous post, you mentioned that they had no phone contact info, just a site and a forum. We are a bit different. We have a site, as well as a forum. We provide phone contact information on our site, as well as in our WHOIS information. We are a licensed business in Washington State.

I welcome you to call me if you would like to discuss this. In fact, I would enjoy it if you do give me a ring.

    or

The domain names were not transferred as quick as I would have liked. Then again, given the bad reputation that follows those names, and the amount of web sites that have negative information about them, they are pretty useless to me at this point.

Again, feel free to give me a ring. I am an open, honest business man.
I have been in business since 9/13/1996, have had (and still have) my first hosting client from 1999, and have been offering hosting since April 2002 online.

    Regards,
    Glenn

This guy has a legitimate name, phone mumber, address. He even got back to me right away with nothing but willingness to help. He called me on the phone immediately. Caller id came up with name and number. The man was more than willing to help with the jam I am in. Nothing to hide what-so-ever!! Sorry, I must say, these are two complete opposites IMO.

Again, [email protected] Call me, e-mail me, PM me. I am at a loss. All I need is an answer, or please try to help me recover from a huge loss. Please.

Always best to give the host (new or old) the benifit of a doubt until they are proven otherwise. Glen, from what I have seen here, is pretty straight forward so I don't think the customers have much, if anything to worry about.

I can understand being burned, even being burned again (I think we all are at times, it's part of life; the worse part, but part nonetheless), though let him help you or givn him a call; you've nothing else to lose and only a friendship to gain .

I'm sorry, but I don't understand how anyone can feel they got burned in this agreement.

          A) All customers were given 10 days notice we were closing ( how many hosting companies just close without warning? Everything lost )
          B) Our few pre-paids were agreed to be carried out the remaining months of payment by Glenn in exchange for my three domains, which have all been updated to his info and pushed.
          C) EVERY customer was given the option of moving to Glenn with the first 30 days free and we both worked on getting every customer whom contacted me the info to make that happen. Sorry, but if you did not contact me, I could not give Glenn your info as our terms of service promised never to sell your info to any third party.

Good luck to you though mike.
The real shame is what Richard/Mike did to his customers. I've seen porn with less screwing than what he gave his customers.
TheForumHost.com is now known as inlandhosting.net. You can switch your name, but you can not switch who you are OR your reputation.

              Hi Pyromaniac,
I have invited you to call, even gave you my toll free number. Please do give me a ring, I would be happy to discuss this with you.

As you may or may not know, I now have the domains that where formerly associated with inlandhosting.net. As such, these names are extremely worthless to me as long as people still continue to associate that domain names with a host that went out of business. This includes those that have negative information in their signature, and on their web sites. The company that did people wrong is out of business.

We are a solid business, and have held the same business license in our state since 1996. We are no a scam. We are NOT Richard or Mike. We simply provide the best hosting service we can. We do not do Annual payments (unless requested), we encourage Monthly payments. We encourage customers to have back ups (current), and such. We make our phone numbers and IM contact information available.

Your signature here is oudated. Thus, I would like to talk to you to ease your mind.
Aside from that, I am a Def fan.... the first album was awesome!
Cheers, and looking forward to hearing from you.
              Glenn
