    Hello everyone.

    I got some basic newb questions i hope you can provide an answer to.

    Where should i host as a completely beginner? (Cheap, Beginner friendly and good service too)

    Any special sites, guides, books or anything like that i should read or you suggest i do?

    I'm in the same boat...anyone got any advice for us noob's? I was thinking godaddy.....

      Hostgator would be one of the better options for cheap hosting. Even better would be something like ASmallOrange. You can have decent hosting for under $10 / month, even though generally these hosts oversell and you can have occasional performance issues. If you want a very good shared hosting, something like Liquidweb would be better - servers with less load and better speed, a bit costly though.

      If price is not a concern, a specialist VB host like URLJet should make life easy for newbies. They will help you with all things VB / Hosting and obviously the rates are higher.

      Stay away from Godaddy - they are not very beginner friendly or a great host. Use godaddy for domain registration and get a specialist host for your web hosting needs.
