Sharing knowledge: max number of concurrent users (approximated)

hello,

i was wondering about the max number of concurrent users (approximated) for different shared hosting, VPS and dedicated servers plans

i hope all of you (by using your solid experience) help the community by sharing such knowledge.

It will help many of new sites owners to choice the right configuration for their sites from the beginning.

mine is:

Plan: Bluehost shared hosting
concurrent users (avg): 30 logged-in users, 500 viewers
Max concurrent users: 5,205 viewers, on 16-04-2012 (site was as good as dead )
CPU: unknown
Ram: unknown
Bandwidth: unlimited
hdd: unlimited
No. webserver: 1
External DB server: No

Plan: Hostgator basic dedicated.
concurrent users (avg): 40 logged-in users, 500 viewers
Max concurrent users: Most users ever online was 1,766, 03-03-2012 (site was dead after that.)
CPU: Intel Xeon 3450
Ram: 2gb DDR3
Bandwidth: 10Tb
hdd: 500Gb
