We are using Stratogen for hosted VMware with relatively good results. They are not the cheapest out there but we haven't had any downtime which was the main reason for us switching to a VMware based cloud. We got caught a couple of times with EC2 outages which we just couldn't live with.

The migration was time consuming though because we had to create VMware virtual machines from scratch. I wish there was a way to export from EC2 or a standard format for clouds. In the meantime it is a case of backing up and restoring data for us. If you know of a better way please let me know!

Product page for Stratogen is http://www.stratogen.com/products/vmware-hosting.html

    Hope that helps,

    Simon.

Is that VMware hosting for a vBulletin site? Have you thought about using Citrix Xen?
