Vbulletin hosting problems

Hi, 2 weeks ago I created my first VBulletin forum. I was totally new to the process so I used online sites for help on how to do everything. When looking for a host I found a site that listed "The Top 10 Vbulletin hosts". I should have known better but I trusted the site and picked the #2 site on the list ipage.com . Since my forum opened I have been experiencing nothing but problems. Almost daily my site will go down for a hour or so and I will be receiving numerous emails telling me about some error with the host. I have called ipage numerous times but all I get is scripted responses and told that they will send my sites problem up to a higher level.
Could someone please give me some options on a reliable host I can move my forum to? Like I said I am new to all of this so I am not really sure how to do the process of changing hosts. I hate to loose all the work I have done on my site.

I use realwebhost and have never experienced any downtime that wasn't caused by me.
I started on a shared server until my traffic grew to the point that I needed a VPS.

Hmm always try to do a background check on a host on your own, then believe some random list. I would suggest you try WHT forums (http://www.webhostingtalk.com) Look around read some reviews and then check the Webhosting Offers section. You may end up on a nice host with a good discount too.

I got the site moved to urljet.com Seems to be working much better so far
