It seems that Host Veterans are simply a reseller of WebsiteWelcome.com.
When I go to http://www.hostveteran.com , I see a "suspended" page, which means Host Veteran haven't paid their reseller hosting fees.

I don't think ICANN will help you with this case because hostveteran.com is not an ICANN accredited registrar. If HostGator doesn't help you to recover files from hostveteran's reseller account, there's no way you can get it out.

            FindingJ -

I don't know if it will help, but I would urge you to keep after HostGator for a solution. They apparently have possession of your materials. They ought to try to find a way to help you recover them.

That's so terrific! I hardly dared hope you would have success.

I'm very, very pleased for you.
