setup vb on webhost ? safe mode?

hi,

I purchesed a version 3.0.9 of vbulletin, and I did all things written in the manual. step by step.

when I uploaded my php files to my web site hosted by godaddy.com. I surprized when I couldn't run my php files like install.php ..
I sent a letter to thier support, they said that i can run my php files just in safe mode..!

in fact I didn't understand what I can do.

all I wana know : how can I setup my forums in that web host. If anyone have experience in this topic, I will be so thankfull for him/her.

A 404 error means that the files are not there. You need to make sure you have uploaded the files correctly and are using the correct URL.

in fact I'm sure the file is there. secondly .. they said that my plan allow me to run php files in safe mode.. and in this piont I don't move ..

This has nothing to do with Safe mMode. A 404 error means what I posted above.

I have a similar problem, but i have been advised that VB will not run on the godaddy basic package.So I you have a basic one I think you will have to change or change host, like i am having to do.
