  • another question from bacon bits

    I just recently published my site on yahoo, but another problem... I've tried it out on a lot of computers, and on some computers, my page viewed with internet explorer has dead images on the end of each page. The suspected code (generated by the server) goes like this-

    <!-- text below generated by server. PLEASE REMOVE --><!-- Counter/Statistics data collection code --><script language="JavaScript" src="<A href="http://hostingprod.com/js_source/geov2.js"></script><script">http://hostingprod.com/js_source/geov2.js"></script><script language="javascript">geovisit();</script><noscript><img src="http://visit.webhosting.yahoo.com/vi...f?us1078929642" alt="setstats" border="0" width="1" height="1"></noscript>
    <IMG SRC="http://geo.yahoo.com/serv?s=19190039&t=1078929642" ALT=1 WIDTH=1 HEIGHT=1>

    looks like there are a couple of images in there. How do I avoid these dead images from being shown?

    How about you post a Screenshot of what you are trying to accomplish?

        That looks like script generated by the host and you have no control over it. The only way to get the images in positon would be to contact the host to see what the problem is or, move server.
