  • Why are the dimensions different?

    Take a look at http://www.dieselrecords.com/forums/ and http://www.dieselrecords.com/beta.html

Both have the same menu at the top. A grey bar that says "Home, Records, Artists..." etc. Now when you flip between the two the images seem to have slightly different spacing (flip between them quickly and you'll see what I mean) I can't explain why it is doing this. The HTML is the same, the CSS is the same, images are the same.

I know this is anal but could any explain the slight difference and how I could correct it?

The navigation isn't on the beta.html page anymore?

It's there. I checked both on Mozilla Foxfire and IE6. Weird.

if it's in a table, and the table has something in it that is bigger than the cell it is in, it will normally push the table out, causing things to misalign..

Probably something later on in the page doing that.

The table is self contained. I even stripped it down to it's most basic HTML and couldn't get the two to be the same. Very frustrating. I examined the VB CSS and there doesn't seem to be anything within it conflicting with my HTML and CSS.
