  • Cacheing queries

    Now I read a little article on this on zend.com about how to use serialize and unserialize but basically it only gave information about writing the data to files.

    Now i know vb3 cache's queries using serialize and unserialize and so do other applications and they do it without writing to files too. So how is it done ?

    PHP Code:
    $variable serialize($thearrayvariable);
    You can write $variable to a file or to a database or whatever...

      Sorry I didn't understand that. I know what serialize and unserialize do but I'm looking for some code to see how the other techniques other than file writing works

        Serialize turns an array into a regular string, so you can use it anywhere
