    mysql_query("SELECT * FROM `table` WHERE `musictype` = 'ROCK' AND `price` = '15' AND `disc_type` = 'MINI'");
    Of course, you would have to edit it, but that's the basic code you should be aiming for.

    search a mysql database

    hi all

    Im new here.

    Just wanted to know if anyone can help me.

    I am wanting to make a php/mysql search page ... VERY basic !

    So for example if I have a database with info on cds in it and I want a cd with is of type ROCK, costs £15 OR LESS and is in MINI DISC format ... it sould sift through the database and print out any matching cds with the criteria specified on screen ... thats it !

    can anyone help me out or atleast point me in the right direction

    thanks !
