  • How to create drop menu?

    How would I create a drop menu to mimic the ones in the nav bar, like Community, etc. Thanks!

    You can follow the basic instructions in this thread:
    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=224641

    If you don't want the menu in the navbar then replace this code:
    Code:
    <td id="custommenu" class="vbmenu_control">
        <a href="#">Custom Menu</a>
        <script type="text/javascript">
            vbmenu_register("custommenu");
        </script>
    </td>
    With this:
    Code:
        <a href="#">Custom Menu</a>
        <script type="text/javascript">
            vbmenu_register("custommenu");
        </script>
    Place it where you want it to show up at.

        Strange behavior. I have implemented the menu, but when I get a new PM the new drop down menu appears in the PM box area, to the right of it. When you check the PM it goes back to normal. Any idea?
        Thanks

          I'm thinking the error is because that tutorial is outdated. Any idea on how to fix?

            FIXED

            You have to put the code in step 1 AFTER the PM code. I put it right before the </if> and it worked.
