I checked php info, and fopen() is off...

How to enable it via .htaccess?

    Inside your htaccess file put...

    Code:
    php_flag allow_url_fopen on

I guess the functions disabled by php.ini can not be overridden by .htaccess. You may need another host. Are you hosting with godaddy windows hosting?

Yeah, the code shovel posted didn't override it. My host is linux and not godaddy. They told me they disabled fopen() for security reasons.

I figured as much. Sorry, but that was the only other way to re-enable it on demand.
