    This really should be fixed in the next release, while you say it's unimportant. The bottom line is this - vBulletin is now failing a pretty basic validation service now. Were not even talking about WC3 Strict here. And possible future vBulletin buyers may be put of by this. You may be right thats it's not that important from a technical point of view, but from a vBulletin image point of view. This is not good.

    So why not just fix it in the next release?

    1: So vBulletin DOES validate
    2: You don't risk losing potential sales because of this

    Same here, I had to do a mass search and replace to get my site to validate properly.

    When you check with the version 0.8.0 Beta 1 of W3C validator, it says the <html> tag miss the xmlns attribute and must to add this to be validate:
    Code:
    xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
    vB must to add this for next versions? Future standardisation?
