Ok, I need some help with frames. Yes i know what you are all going to say, that frames are old school now and that they have had their day, and i agree with that, but I am working on a site where i just have to use them.
I got everything looking good, even across the browsers so, so far so good. I have three frames, one across the top for header and logo, one down the left for the nav, and a mainframe. I got the top and left frames as fixed widths with scrolling OFF. What i need to achieve is to somehow 'lock' all three together so they all scroll as one page. It looks crap, old fashioned and amatureish to have just the mainframe scroll with the other two sitting still.
Yes i know i could use tables lol, but am just not allowed, and in this instance frames really are the only option. Does anyone here know of any java or something to achieve this effect. Im sure it can be done, but cant find much reference.
Heres hoping
