  • How to add spaces???

Lets say I want my links sort of separated....

    ie.

    <div align="center"><a href="http://www.example.com">Home</a> <a href="http://www.forum.example.com">Forum</a></div>

I want the links having more space in between them, how do I do that???

One method you could use is add several &nbsp; tags in there.

Is that the conventional way of doing it?

That's pretty much the only way to do it, since anything more than one space and a browser won't render it. Another way to do it would perhaps be padding.

are you serious.... so all the content and writing that is specifically spaced a certain way in websites is done by that command?

Not at all, but it appeared to me at least you were wanting to add some spaces within a navbar or similar.

If you were wanting more accurate spacing for pages etc, css padding or margin elements would be the preferred option.

              Tables are good

If you want well aligned links, a table with cellpadding set on it is a good way to go - that way you can also have equal spacing for variable length links and center the links in the table cells (a bit like the menu at the top of this page).

As said above, center-aligned table cells are probably the easiest way, though CSS style padding would definitely be better and more browser friendly.
