Site Redirects

I am not sure if this is the correct place for this question so please feel free to move it if necessary.

I have several domains that I would like to point to my main site, however, have had issues with just pointing the domain...so I am going to setup a redirect that will just forward them to the main page, this should solve my problem. Will any redirect script do or should I use a specific one?
